Buy Have Heart’s last t-shirt!
Have heart is breaking up as of October 17th 2009 and if you can’t make the last show you should still support them with the final t-shirt.
Bridge 9 is pre-selling the t-shirt on their website. It is simple, but looks pretty sick!

Purge This City and The Dynasty new tracks!
Attention WI people!
check out some new tracks from some local bands.
First up: Purge This City
check these brodudes out, they just recorded a new song called 242 and it is killer. They worked really hard on it so give it a shot!
Next: The Dynasty
These guys have been killing it for a while. Their live show is so intense and fun. They also just recorded some new stuff at a studio that is up on their myspace as well.
You can check both of these bands out july 24th up in Madison at the Electric Earth Cafe.
Check out both of their myspaces to check out the songs and for more details.
Enter Shikari’s new album.
In spite of seeing them at a killer show last night, I feel like doing an enter shikari review.
Their new album Common Dreads is a really interesting combo of elements. Unlike their old album Take to the Skies there aren’t a whole bunch of interludes. It is much more of a dancey punk album with some screaming thrown in. Also, the synth shredding is a lot more intense in this album. Check it out if you were into their other album or dig dancey music.
Favorite track: Solidarity
Passion Pit New Album.
Get Passion Pits new album Manners.
It is amazing and totally groundbreaking stuff, like all the other passion pit stuff.
The remake of the song sleepyhead isn’t nearly as good however…
It came out a bit ago and I am behind on my blogging but still get it!

Anyone Ready To Stomp?
This video of Have Heart is my favorite video on youtube right now just because of the utter craziness of the whole crowd just raging together. At 1:40 of the video watch the dude stage dive into no one and just get owned it’s amazing!
Have Heart is about to embark on a world tour and won’t be back to the states till later this year.
If you haven’t checked them out ever, check out their album Songs to Scream At The Sun.
Be ready Chicago, on September 4th they are coming and it is going to be an amazing show according to lambgoat.

Lollapalooza Lineup announced.

Check out the lineup here
Get tickets here
Finally! The lollapalooza lineup has finally been announced. I am a bit disappointed about Daft Punk not being on the lineup, but I was kind of expecting them not to be after last years epic performance.
There are still a lot of killer bands to go and check out. It is still in the same spot as it normally is, Millennium Park. The park is in the heart of downtown Chicago and is really easy to get too.
The price is a bit steep, but I think it could be worth it. As of now, the 3 day advance pass is 190 dollars but those are to go to all three days. Closer to the actual festival they normally have one day tickets if there is a certain day you want to go.
Some of the wicked bands to watch out for:
Passion Pit
Depeche Mode
MSTRKRFT
TV On the Radio
Crystal Castles
Santogold
Of Montreal
Animal Collective
