The DLC adds a new Survival Mode, a faster-paced game mode that has players facing off against increasingly frequent waves of the undead across 12 specialized maps.

Valve’s testers had yet to have a match last longer than nine minutes as of early March, and it seems that anything over 14 minutes will be ridiculously impossible, as the L4D Blog points out that Tanks will spawn every 14 seconds or sooner at that point.

“Given the extreme pace of Survival Mode, the number of zombies killed in a single round often outnumbers an entire campaign,” wrote Valve’s Kerry Davis and Scott Dalton, adding that one goal was to “have games that regularly last under ten minutes.”

In addition, the pack brings Versus Mode support to the Dead Air and Death Toll campaigns, finally enabling Versus play for all of the game’s four main campaigns.

Call of Duty has announced they will release a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare! Technically, they haven’t officially added the Call of Duty title onto the name in the teaser so as of now it is just called Modern Warfare 2. My guess is they will add the title on closer to the time of the release. The details are still sketchy, but I’ll keep you guys posted on the latest news!

This Sunday Nintendo is releasing a new hand held gaming system called the DSi. It is a sequel from the current Nintendo DS with a few added features. Some of the features are 2 cameras, different camera lenses, a built in browser, and a SD card slot. There will also be an app store where you can buy games and different applications. Word is there will be a video chat application in the near future which is something pretty neat for a hand held gaming system. The retail right of the bat will be $169.99 with two color choices of blue or black. If you haven’t reserved it already, you might still be able too. Most stores will most likely have some in stock so you might not need to worry about getting your hands on one if you are pumped for the release.

   Don’t have the new Limited Edition Halo Wars yet want the mythic map pack? Well your in luck. Bungie has just released a statement saying that on April 9, 2009 the mythic map pack will be available for download. The pack will cost you 800 microsoft points but it seems to be worth it. With the new map pack comes new achievements, like with the legendary map pack. Also, bungie says that there will be a blank forge map so gamers can make their own fully custom maps. This is good news for many custom game players on halo because of so many new options and game types that can be made. Keep a lookout for the maps to drop on your Xbox soon.

Ah, Nintendo has once again graced us gamers with another game in the Pokemon series. Many of the hardcore Pokemon fanatics (such as myself) have been playing the game since we were young and something keeps drawing us back. Whether it be the new Pokemon in the different versions or the excitement of a new challenge, something brings you back to the timeless classic. This game is no different. There are multiple changes in this game from the pearl/diamond game. An add on that I found kind of weird was the new ability to record your battles and upload them for the internet. Kind of useless, but interesting. The gameplay is much of the same as diamond and pearl with a few changes here and there with graphics and trainers having different pokemon from the previous games. The main difference is after you catch the legendary pokemon in this game, a time rift opens up and you go to another dimension! Quirky, yet a cool add on to the pokemon series. Overall, the game is pretty solid like most other pokemon games and I would deffinently get it if you plan to be on a long plane/car ride for spring break. There is nothing like a good ol’ pokemon game to pass the time in a car.

Pros: Battle recorder, Longer gameplay, More things to do in the game itself

Cons: Beggining much like diamond/pearl, some of the quirky things they added are kind of useless.
